Arm is a leading semiconductor Intellecutal Property company which provides fundamental computing platform technologies (CPU, GPU, accelorators, bus architectures, systems IP, etc.) used in many of the world’s business and consumer brands. They do not produce products directly but license their IP to companies and these partners have embeded 200+ billion Arm-based chips in products across most markets. They offer their IP freely to academia for teaching and research.

BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) is a landmark institution in India's higher education landscape. Founded in 1946, it holds the distinction of being India's first private engineering college. Situated in Bangalore, the city is often called the "Silicon Valley of India."

As of 2025, the college has around 15,000 students and 500 faculty members. BMSCE offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various engineering disciplines. The institution is also known for its strong industry links, research opportunities, and vibrant campus life.
